If you look at the market today, you see a strong dominance of german boardgames, but this has not always been this way. Especially the US-based company Milton-Bradley (MB) was in the market long before the german producers, and even today Hasbro and other companies a strong representatives in the boardgames market.

With only marginal access to the really old US-products, I will present only a choice of old and new international games below. As time goes by, I hope to fill this section with more life, but for the time being I only present those games which I considered worthwhile to test...

It all started with the Warhammer-Game of Fantasy Battles by Games Workshop. Today, the hobby of tabletop gaming has grown incredibly over the last two decades and these games are played by thousands of gamers all around the world. Painting Miniatures, playing Tournaments, a real exitement!

Who doesn´t know the greatest novel of the world: J.R.R. Tolkiens "Lord of the Rings" ? In late 1996 I got to know that there existed old boardgames on these books, and I started to dig deeper into the issue. I virtually searched the world and the more I looked, the more games I found. Years ago when the U.K.-based company Games Workshop still was young and long before their modern concentration of Tabletop-wargames like Warhammer, Games Workshop used to produce a broad choice of highly attractive boardgames.
